Shane has built four SBA departments from zero and deployed over $500M in SBA 7(a), 504, and USDA B&I loans across five institutions — Pacific Premier Bank, First Bank, IncredibleBank, Grasshopper Bank, and now PHX Business at Community Bank & Trust.

His discipline — Credit Policy, Credit Philosophy, Operational Systems, Operating Procedures — is codified as "The Lending Ethos," the four-domain framework he now runs the CX platform against.

Raised on Hollywood film sets (his father was a First Assistant Camera operator for 40+ years), Shane brings a rare dual fluency in regulated capital and production workflow. He co-founded Lords of Lending (February 2024) and CX Lending (January 2025).

Stephanie drives the strategic direction, growth, and performance of the bank's small-business lending department. With 25+ years in financial services, she has led SBA lending at Live Oak Bank (the #1 SBA lender in the U.S., where she was the nation's #1 funeral-home SBA lender), First Bank, IncredibleBank, and Grasshopper Bank — serving as President of SBA Lending before her current role.

She serves as a public-appointed Council Member for the State of North Carolina's Innovation Council, contributing to policy work that fosters innovation and economic growth. A McGill University BCom graduate and Season 10 contestant on NBC's The Apprentice — one of 16 selected from 25,000+ applicants — she also produces through 3AM Collective and Feroce Productions (credits include Monica, Venice International Film Festival 2022).

Attorney-turned-SBA loan officer. Brian practiced real-estate law at Allen Matkins and Fainsbert Mase Brown & Sussman in Los Angeles for six years before moving full-time into SBA lending at First Bank SBA, IncredibleBank, and Grasshopper Bank — specializing in business acquisitions, transaction-risk assessment, and strategic-growth structuring.

His book covers the full small-business spectrum: hotels and motels (independent and flagged), gas stations, car washes, restaurants, funeral homes, assisted-living facilities, doctors and dentists, auto shops, self-storage, and more. He leads lender relationships and deal structuring across CX SBA and CX Commercial Real Estate.
